Yes!!! It’s the year 2015 AD!!! Am I not grateful for seeing 2014 to the end and the start of 2015? I am indeed very grateful and thankful to God.
2014 is a year that is full of abundant testimonies for me. And mark me, it ain’t the regular conventional testimonies of the motley type.
Am grateful for increase knowledge of God, his will and purpose on earth and what he expects of me. I have come to realize that, God is not “interested” in what we want to do or what we think he wants us to do or the purpose we want to achieve as long as he is not the objective and the sole purpose of it.(Click here to continue reading)

On Sunday, 12th October 2014, caught with a group of former classmates of my Alma Mata, Mayflower School Ikenne.
What joy it was to see folks I had not seen in over 15 years! Its simply amazing how we lose touch with people who were in our past, who one way or the other will have a chapter written about them, if we ever write our biography.
We sang a few of our songs in the Merry mayflower, and its quite interesting how people remember the lines..though mixing it up. But all the same we sang with gusto the songs that made out stay in Mayflower School and Student Second Home worthwhile.
“May your road be rough!” Those were the words of a man i respect so highly, in person of the foremost educationalist, the late Dr. Tai Solarin. Back then in Mayflower School, we use to think the man was nuts for cursing us in such manner. But years have passed, we have grown wiser and come to see the wisdom and deep insight in those words of his and seen the practical reality in our lives…in my life……. For when a strong man like Satan is fully armed and guards his palace, his possessions are safe—22: until someone even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings. Luke 11: 21-22
“Where is Kurt?” Asked Scarface the eldest of the 5 brother Alpha lions. “Is he not back from the mission? He is taking too long..” They paced their enclave together fearing the worst for their brother. Wondering if he had gone on the hunt as was his custom when on such errands or he had been caught by the brothers and they had lived up to their reputation.
Suddenly in flew a Crow, with dread written all over his face. The brothers, braced themselves for the news. Kurt had been killed by the two brothers, he had been badly mauled by them. Grief consumed them, anguish overwhelmed them, and then rage engulfed them in totality. They roared out in fury, bloodthirsty, longing for revenge.

Luke 11:21-22 has never been more real to me until I watched a documentary on NATGEOWILD when it hit like the force of a hurricane what the scriptures mean by this seemingly meaningful and profound statement.
The story goes that there were two brother Alpha lions who ruled their territory for more than 5 years. Their kingdom was quite large has they control a whole wildlife park of thousands of hectares. They were renowned for defending their turf and beating up badly, any challenger or attempted attempt to incur into their territory. The two made a formidable team, Mr T and Kinky tail where their names.
Most times in life, we are battered by storms…some minor some major and with varying consequences.
The degree to which we hold on most matters and the extent to which we understand the storms can help us weather through it even though it can be an harrowing experience.
In the real sense of a storm, it can really be terrifying when winds in excess of 200mph is racing through your neighborhood, tearing it apart and you are scared frozen not knowing what to expect. Well, for those of us in Africa and West Africa, we may not really be able to appreciate the extent of this storm in real life since we are off the grid-lines that produces it hence much more sheltered. But for folks in US and Europe, its not a tale you want to feature in……..(click here to read more)

Internet service went down for millions of Americans on Wednesday morning after cable company Time Warner Cable suffered a major outage.
The company, which has almost 12m broadband subscribers nationwide, said it was investigating the cause of the outage, which apparently began around 4.30am ET. By 6am, it said “services were largely restored”, but an hour later, said it was still “working to restore services to all areas”. By 10am, the company was telling customers the outage had been resolved, but some social media users said access was still spotty.

Affected users besieged the helplines and social media accounts of the firm, which declared an operating income of .1bn in the 2nd quarter of 2014.
On Tuesday, Reuters reported that Time Warner Cable paid .1m to resolve an investigation from the Federal Communications Commission that found the provider did not properly report multiple network outages.
“TWC (Time Warner Cable) failed to file a substantial number of reports with respect to a series of reportable wireline and Voice Over Internet Protocol network outages,” the FCC’s report read. “TWC admits that its failure to timely file the required network outage reports violated the commission’s rules.”
The FCC is currently reviewing a deal for company to be purchased by Comcast – a cable and internet giant.
Consumer groups have repeatedly warned that combining the two companies would be a disaster for consumers, and would further reduce competition in an already monopolized market. Several studies confirmed that services competing against Comcast, such as Netflix, have been throttled by the company, the delivery speed of media significantly slowed by the ISP.
Time Warner and other cable companies are facing increased competition from companies such as Google. The Silicon Valley giant installed fiber optic cables in several cities around America. It claims the internet speeds are up to 100 times faster than typical broadband.
