The young shall grow, is a maxim we heard back in the days growing up in the 90s. It was a phrase filled with hope and wonder of the possibilities un-imagined in the nearest future we are going to meet.

I woke up this morning to the news that Fidel Castro, the great Cuban revolutionist passed away on Friday at the age of 90. And i read a very interesting article on him by the New York Times which led me to reflect on the twilight settling down on many of the heroes we grew up knowing and have known.
Am sure we are quite familiar with the story by Spencer Johnson about four allegorical characters, Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw and there sojourn in search of Cheese.
While i won’t bore you with the full story line, i would do a summary of it and how it relates to the bane of leadership in Nigeria currently.
